Act 1 Scene 5

My father visited me last night. During his visit, he told me that Claudius killed him. After he killed my father he married my mother. I know he wants me to get revenge on Claudius for killing him but I don't know if I could handle it. I am too young to have to deal with this yet. It would affect me and my mother for the rest of our lives. I understand Claudius killed my father but he also makes my mother happy. I hate being in this situation. If I kill him I will have to accept the consequences which may not be a good thing. Claudius has family too. If I kill him, his friends and family will be angry with me. I may become the villain in another ones eyes. I want to kill him. I want to avenge my fathers death. But I have to take the country and the rest of my friends and family into consideration. I don't know what to do.
